7.            Where do we store your Personal information?

Where the GDPR applies, you should be aware that this Website is hosted, and some companies and contractors who process your Personal Information are located, in the United States and other countries noted above.  These countries do not always provide the same level of protection for your information.  In these circumstances, your Personal Information is transferred on the basis of one of the mechanisms set out below:

Adequacy Decision: Your Personal Information will be transferred to and stored at/processed in Canada which was found to have an adequate level of protection for personal data under Commission Decision 2002/2/EC of 20 December 2001.

Model Clauses: The Personal Information is transferred within the Mama Dolce group by way of the European Commission’s model contracts for the transfer of Personal Information to third countries (i.e., the standard contractual clauses), pursuant to Decision 2004/915/EC. Further, Personal Information is transferred to our providers by way of the European Commission’s model contracts for the transfer of Personal Information to third countries (i.e., the standard contractual clauses), pursuant to Decision 2010/87/EU. 8.            How long do we store your Personal Information?

We will retain your information as follows:

  • If you give us your information via the Contact Us page, we will keep your data on the Mama Dolce exchange e-mail system for ten (10) years.

  • Information from cookies using Google Analytics will be kept for two (2) years.  We retain information from other cookies for 24 hours. 

9.          Your Rights

Where the GDPR applies, you have the following rights in respect of your personal information:

In certain circumstances, you have the right to access and receive a copy of information we hold about you, to rectify any Personal Information held about you that is inaccurate and to request the deletion of Personal Information held about you.
