Founder Jane knows a thing or two about dessert. Growing up her mother was known for creating delicious meals and desserts using only a handful of simple yet delicious ingredients to create restaurant quality meals. She saw food as more than taste, but fusions of flavours to create moments in time to share with loved ones.
It was later in life after dealing with temporary food intolerances, that she became fed up of feeling disconnected during meals and went back to some of her mother’s original dessert recipes to find a way to bring her love of food back to life and the connection it brings.

The heart of Mama Dolce is our founder Jane, who in the face of a lacklustre selection of luxury goods from the free-from market, resolved to make her own: and so began the story of Mama Dolce. With a drive to make everyone feel included, Jane got busy building an ice cream empire which embodied a culture of diversity and empowerment with a clear vision for the future of luxury food.
